Another great classic that I enjoyed much more this time around than when I was required to read it in school.
Of Mice and Men tells the story of two men, George and Lennie, who had escaped from a bad situation in Weed and are one a journey to find work in a new town away from all their problems. The biggest problem is Lennie is mentally challenged and often can’t keep secrets, gets scared often causing him to do terrible things, and looks like the most innocent man in town.
When they arrive at a new ranch, George is quick to make a few new friends and even confides in a few about their past troubles. It wasn’t long before George begins to feel like maybe trouble is brewing and that is may be time to move on and save them both.
This was an amazing story, a classic, and one that everyone should read.
