I felt he could have elaborated a bit more into jake and Kate's relationship. And the whole CIA thing

A typical James Patterson easy read. If you are looking for something suspenseful, not much thinking involved, this is a good 'vacation' type book.

Great book. Hard to put down. Fast paced and fun to try to guess what was coming next.

Contrived and predictable. But not horrible.

As usual, a good quick read. Things I didn't expect and things I did. Nothing like Patterson to whisk you away for a day into someone else's problems.

DNF. My first book that I couldn't get to the end of and don't plan on returning to, which is a real shame considering I really enjoy Patterson's Alex Cross series. I think I will have to stick to Patterson's solo output from now on mainly because his co-written work is becoming poorer and poorer.
