The sex is nice but the story is wild. And not in a good way. Maybe if this was a book and not a novella?

Okay so, I get that this is an introduction to the first novel in this series 'Neon Gods' and you indeed realize how that all fits together at the end, but I just did not like this read.
It went way too fast, with no real introduction to any of the characters and the story was honestly just random.
I'm a big Greek Mythology fan so I obviously had high hopes for this series, but after reading this novella I'm not sure if I even want to read the rest, because if all those books are so TOO fast past and lack an actual thought out plot then I'd just say reading it would be a waste of my time.
Maybe I'm being too critical because obviously you can't fit that much in 80 pages, but still.
I'd rather have the writer actually give a proper introduction to the world and the characters (at least the characters that are important in the book that follows) instead of the story that just felt so random that was cooked up now.
It was an easy and a fast read, but once I finally kind of got onto it, I was already on the last page.
Therefore I only gave it two stars...

This is my first toe dip into fantasy romance. I’m not sure how I feel quite yet, but Katee is a new fave of mine so I’m going to see where this series takes me :)
