Medusa as the main character in a sapphic love story is everything I wanted from this novella and then some. Its also the first introduction to the Dark Olympus mythos, so I definitely reccomend checking it out if you want to or have read the series.
4.5. I liked the story line a lot. This makes me love Hades even more.
However, as of Sweet Obsession, current Poseidon is former Poseidon’s nephew. But in this book, it says he’s his son.

This is probably honestly and structurally closer to a 3 because it felt very rushed and had some weird sentences along the way but I bumped it to a 4 just for enjoyment alone.

despite the insta love, the pacing was actually pretty solid for such a short novella. still, this would be so much better as a fully fleshed out novel. these two have so much interesting potential as characters, and if we’d gotten to see more of an assassin-y cat and mouse dynamic… UGH it would have been SO GOOD!!
