Honestly… I know this book is a novella but the pacing was so fast. How they fell in love, I have no idea. I feel like even if it was a novella with 81 pages, she should not have tried to fit everything bad happening all at once and have a happy ending as well.
Medusa and Calypso ending up together as girlfriends was amazing, and I love the lgbtq aspect of the book, but their “love” development happened too fast for me, I think.
Overall, there were some typos it seemed and her writing, I like a lot, but this, I can’t give more than 3 stars. I liked the book, but not so much.

Coming off the high of Epic the Musical, I really appreciated this novella’s take on Calypso, Medusa, Athena and Odysseus. I loved how it expanded on Calypso beyond being overly sexual, her transactional view of love made sense, and Medusa’s backstory with Posedion and Athena added so much depth. But my biggest complaint is that this was just a novella. I wanted more time for their relationship to feel natural and less like they’re suddenly “in love” after one night of good sex. Also, the sex scene was shorter than I expected. As someone in the lgbtq+ community, I appreciated the focus on trauma bonding and how that connected them, but I still wish it had been a full-length story. Fun and impactful, but it left me wanting more.

this is the exact same number of good chapters in this novella: the first one
idea was goodish, but the rush was definitely not
i don’t wtf i have just read, a mistake maybe
but luckily it was just a comprehensive 2 hours experience
90% pornography and 10% story (that is not even well developed)
one thing that leaves me this “book” is the certainty that i’ll never have my nipples (or anything else) pierced
cringe
p.s HOW THE FUCK COULD YOU NOT KNOW WHO HADES IS AT THIS POINT???????????
