A new illustrated version of "The Night Before Christmas" illustrated by Loren Long. I appreciate that Mr. Long had Santa flying above all sorts of homes but since the poem is told in the first person, it makes the story disjointed.

This is a very special read for me and my family. My dad reads it to me, my sister, my mom, and even our dog Carlee on Christmas eve. I love this story so much it always makes me think of falling asleep on Christmas eve with excitement for the following day. I love this tradition with all my heart. It's a safe place, a transport for simpler times. Makes me think of being little again with no worries. My dad will be reading this wonderful poem later on before we go to bed. I hope that those who celebrate will have a great Christmas. Happy Holidays.
