Cute book

"Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house..." This is the classic poem about Santa Claus' arrival with reindeer that really defined our culture's conception of Jolly Ole Saint Nick. In other words, this is an all time classic. It was written by Clement Moore in 1823. The version of the story I read had pop out designs that brought the story to life. An amazing experience reading this to my kids.

Perfect. No notes.

All the best memories and nostalgia of Christmas! I've always loved this poem and every version of this book I've read has been lovely. This particular version is the coziest I've ever read with such sweet illustrations that are just my style. I was lucky to find this edition at a used book store and it's now my new favorite. I'll keep the others (especially the paperback edition that I read to my kids), but this one is very sweet and reminds me of a Victorian house that I've always dreamed of owning.

Highly, highly recommended!

Best Christmas book ever

A family favorite from my childhood. Now i can continue the tradition with my own children. Thank you Clement C. Moore!

a classic < 3
fast-paced

My version on the Kindle said that it was modified for children of the 21st century, but I couldn't find any instance of that modification. I will have to read it again to see for sure. But really, this gets a high rating either way, just for being the classic that it is. The illustrations are beautiful and the story just never gets old.

One of the books in my daughter's Christmas collection.

5 Stars = For sentimental reasons.

Ahh, this brought back a lot of memories. Good time. I'm so ready for Christmas!
