Oh, this book! These characters! This world! This took me on a wild ride, and I loved every second of it, even the heartbreaking bits. The start of this one almost broke me. It’s bad, really bad. But Lark is a fighter, a survivor, and strong as fuck. She’s been through stuff, and where most would have given up, she endures.

And the love these guys have for her and eachother is so wonderful. Jude is by far my favorite though. He’s a bright little psycho in this messed up world. And I love that he’s Disney obsessed. But I love all the Tailor boys and how they care for Lark and eachother.

It was a wonderful end to their duet, heartbreaking at times, but they got through to the other side and it was amazing!

Loved it!

Kindle - a bit too predictable and not enough unexpected twists or turns. But I just had to confirm the ending was as expected. It’d be great if there were sub series with the different characters met at the Xmas ball and their storylines.

Loved this duet so freaking much

This very dark and delicious duet is everything!

The spice is out of this world hot.

Look, this second book is going to mess you up, and you’ll thank Rosa for it even while she does it. But you still get so much love and sweetness in the very dark times.

The cliffhanger Addicted to the Pain left us with.. I still think of Aerons roar and get goosebumps. I can literally see, hear & feel it. Rosa lee came back with this one and within the first five chapters I was a sobbing mess. The conversations, the hand holding, the brutal pain endured by all. Mental and physical. Wow. I balled my eyes out & had to put my kindle down to cry. If youre looking for a DARK romance that brings the spice and makes you feel then I HIGHLY recommend this (pleeeease check TW). This is a duet I wont forget ever. Rosa is easily a one click author for me now, I had the paperback ordered before I was halfway through. Those first few chapters made my love for Aeron a million times stronger.
I came out of ATTP wanting more from Tarl and that was delivered, I was glad to get the glimpse of the past that created who he is now. Knox hurt a lot in this one and his behaviour reflected that. But he was still the possessive & protective daddy. Jude.. fuuuuuck me. Jude!!! He didnt top his brother but was a close second for me. He was a literal red flag. Anything (and I mean anything. Be warned) goes for him, he was pure filth and he will either make you squirm with unease or clench with want. I think I did both. He was disturbing but it was so so good. Im okay with whatever that makes me - I would eat him up!! The spice wasnt as frequent in this one in comparison but it was still next freaking level.
These boys will forever live rent free in my head. My mind was blown and Im excited for whatever is next from Rosa.

I really liked part 2 of this duet more than the first! I was mad at the way the first one ended but those issues were thankfully resolved fairly quickly and it turns out our fmc wasn't as stupid as I thought!
Don't get me wrong this book is as dark if not darker than the first book so please check triggers! There is some very mild incestuous tendencies and some mild breeding.
Similar to the first book we get a character that we find out 50% of the way thru is hiding something big though luckily is not quite as bad as the fmc in book 1.
The characters grew on me more this book and we get our HEA!
