Oh, this book! These characters! This world! This took me on a wild ride, and I loved every second of it, even the heartbreaking bits. The start of this one almost broke me. It’s bad, really bad. But Lark is a fighter, a survivor, and strong as fuck. She’s been through stuff, and where most would have given up, she endures.

And the love these guys have for her and eachother is so wonderful. Jude is by far my favorite though. He’s a bright little psycho in this messes up world. And I love that he’s Disney obsessed. But I love all the Tailor boys and how they care for Lark and eachother.

It was a wonderful end to their duet, heartbreaking at times, but they got through to the other side and it was amazing!

Loved it!

I want so many more books in this series to just watch the way the story unfolds further even if the book has no point to it (i mean like no conflict) but just them being all cute and fluffy thats all i want for these characters for the rest of time, im addicted to these characters and their happy ending

Review: This is the sequel to a book I previously read, Addicted To The Pain. As I said last time, the dark smut is not my norm. I do appreciate that both these books have an interesting plot/story and are well written! They are heavy on the smut with lots of darker elements, which is not a bad thing. If that's your genre of choice, you will love Rosa Lee's books.

A criticism I have for this one is the storyline with Lark/Rook and their father felt rushed through. After the build up in the first book, I expected there to be more of that plot in this book. Otherwise, I love the characters, the steam is very steamy, and the relationships are complex and interesting.

Read if you like: enemies to lovers, reverse harem, why choose, shared trauma, taboo.

Great spice. Lots of plot holes and story jumping. Fantastic spice though and dark as can be
