Max has finally been promised a puppy and takes all the needed steps to find Monty. However, when he brings the puppy home, Max learns that Monty is not as easy to handle as he might have hoped. Fetch and other games are rough, but nothing compares with trying to get the puppy to go to sleep. Max tries everything, but Monty cannot seem to settle. Max even tries to bring Monty to bed with him, but things seem to take a turn for the worse. When Max takes one final step, he seems to have found a solution that works, for now. Neo loved this book, especially since the cover resembles both of us in our younger years. A great way to end a fabulous day with Neo.
