Things I liked:
- The world building
- The premise of robot and human
- Ronin, and all his sweetness
- The conclusion wrapping things up
- The exploration into bots being able to evolve into sentience
Things I did not like:
- Lara, and her temper of a 7 year old
- How slow the book got at times. It took me 6 days to complete this when I typically complete a book every other day
- Did I mention Lara?
There was a lot to love, and such a good premise, but when you dislike one of the main characters, it's very difficult to enjoy the book as a whole. Add on to that how slow the plot got over and over, at like 40% then preparing for the end at like 75%.
