Maybe it didn't excited me as much as the two other books, but I think it was a good outcome for the story. I just really like Penny's writing, and Kaitlyn was such a great character in my opinion, I love her naiveté, 'cause its got wit and is genuine, it makes me think it's cute as hell. Penny Reid is definitely getting a good place on my favourite authors :)

BEST. SERIES. EVER.
Now I'm in tears because it's over but god damn, this series was AMAZING. It was witty, brilliantly written, and so funny. Parker (Katy), and Martin's story is full of so many frustrating moments of miscommunication, lots sexual tension, and beautiful firsts.
Martin and Katy needed to get their shit together.. For half the series, they just didn't communicate. I was like SFKDLJSFDKJDFS.
Katy is my favorite female MC next to Mel from "American Savages". She is so brilliant and outspoken. She's not experienced in love but she's not afraid to voice it, I love her. She is what I strive to be. She deserved the romantic, hot, popular guy to fall for her, and deserved to experience a special kind of love. This book really had me. It had me hooked and in love.
I don't think I can say it enough, I LOVED THIS SERIES.
I RECOMMEND IT. I SHIP IT ALLLLLLL.

I was pleased by the ending of this series. In all honesty this could have been made a standalone with a few changes and might have been better than having the three novels, but I understand the progression.
I did enjoy this. However I always find it difficult to root for young-love couples. There's a lot out there in the world and it's hard for me to be convinced that these relationships actually end in HEA instead of HFN. I seem to be consistently doubting the relationship, through no fault of the author.
BUT, Martin and Kaitlyn were great in this one. Martin grew up and so did Kaitlyn and seeing the progression was lovely.
And now the only thing for me to do is wait anxiously for more Penny Reid books/newsletters/anything she wants to release at all.

The heroine is so ridiculously obtuse. I just couldn't deal with it.

I wish there was an epilogue so I'd find out how the performance went!

Loved this book. LO V E D I T! An excellent continuation from the previous book and a brilliant path to an ending I couldn't have imagined better. Happy Mother's Day to me! This book was a wonderful gift. Thank you, Penny. Can't wait to read more of your talent!
