This story has quite a few twists and turns in it as well as a slew of oddball and disconcerting characters as well as some really good ones that all contribute to a well rounded and interesting story that will keep you guessing till the end. Laced with humor and suspense I couldn't put it down.

A Serpent's Tooth is the newest mystery in Johnson's series set in Wyoming. In the search for a missing woman, Sheriff Walt Longmire finds himself wondering what exactly is going on in the compound run by some fundamentalist Mormons. This enjoyable series has interesting recurring characters and occasionally a bit of mysticism, although not in this particular novel.

A fine example of the series. Easily stands on its own. Immersive & entertaining able to catch the breath.

Boy howdy!!!! Did not see that coming. Great one if the series.

Another great entry in the series.
Shocking twist at the end - and surprising developments in Walt and Vic's relationship.

Great as always!! I'm not sure it this was the best (because they are all so good), but it ranks up there!
