Cada vez que leo un nuevo libro de Cassandra Clare pienso que es el mejor de todos, y es porque cada vez mejora más y más. Me encantó toda la trama, el misterio (PERO NO LEAN LA SINOPSIS HASTA TERMINAR EL LIBRO), en cada momento me encontraba asiendo gestos de asombro o riendome de todo lo que leía. El amor de parabatai... Ush me ENCANTA. Ya estoy ansiosa por leer el segundo, así que eso es lo que haré.

Holy crap! Lady Midnight is a star, a masterpiece. I took me 2 years to convinced myself to read this book, I've read a lot of spoilers about how heartbreaking this book is. And yet, while reading this book I was impatiently read some spoilers on the internet. Because I don't think I can't take these whole mind blowing feelings. But it didn't make me stop to read this book, it didn't ease my pain while read this book. FUCK ME
Here it is, this book is gonna blowing your mind, shattering your heart, wrecking your poor soul, but it is worth it.
It is about adventurous-Shadowhunters life among The Blackthorns and Emma Carstairs. Setting at Los Angeles Institute. Well, most of the story is about Emma Carstairs who definitely want to find her parents' murderer. After five years since the Dark War (happened in The Mortal Instruments series), Emma still consumed by revenge on her parents' death. With the help of her friend, Cristina Mendoza Rosales and her parabatai, Julian Atticus Blackthorn, of course. But thing is not that easy, Emma realizes that she is falling in love with Julian. OMFG! You know it's forbidden to fall in love with your own parabatai. Well, this and that, it turns out Julian fell for Emma too. They're making out, kissing, which is literally hot. I mean, yes of course I ship Emma-Julian. But I'm worried about them too.
Things not just that, Mark Blackthorn is coming back to Los Angeles Institute. Why? Because the Wild Hunt asked for help from LA Institute to solve the serial killings of some faeries. And ecetera... you have to read the book. Shit! Come on!
my thoughts about this book
I like this book very much. I mean, it gives me so many emotions. Not like I like TMI series any less, TMI series are the best but TDA series is different. Emotions, stories and feelings in Lady Midnight are deeper. I feel kind of confusion-emotions when I have to choose who I shipped. Julian-Emma, Emma-Mark, Mark-Cristina, or Cristina-Diego.
Despite its romantic part, the life of the Blackthorns part is torturing me the most. I mean, I pity them. They don't deserve any awful fate. The way Julian sometimes want to give up and tired about being "the father" of four kids. The burden in Mark's shoulder. I just can't.
But, basically this is the best book of Shadowhunters Chronicles so far. I've never been more proud with female Shadowhunters. Also, I’m so glad that each characters from different series (TID & TMI) make their appearances in this book. I miss Clary, Jace, Simon and the team. But, I’m also glad there are Tessa and Jem too. I need to read TID series immediately.

For a week I've tried to read this book .. I just loved the previos books!! But this is bull**** !! I hate Emma she only thinks of her self .. the plot of the book it just plain stupid .. I mean in what world you let 5 children to raise themselfs .. why wpuld you let 2 12 year olds to become parabatai after an traumatic death !! And why tell my way all thr characters act so much older than 17 .. and don't forget we have the bug return of the lost brother .. then i just gave up to this book because i was like watchung a bad telenovela !

I really liked the characters because most of the book was spent building their relationship with the other characters. There was very little plot in this book it was a very quiet plot. This book was super emotional due to spending so much time building up the characters.
