Kiri’s backstory is one of my favorites, especially. He’s the most relatable character in the entire series, and definitely one of my favorites. The character work is definitely complex in this installment, all of the villains feel unique and well-rounded, even though we only see them for a little while each.

This was amazing I cant wait for the next volume hard to believe I just started this series this year lol started this in January and this is my last book of the year plus ultra >:D reading an undamaged copy this time it was nice to see the pics and not struggle to read some pages .

The action and story line is this one was top tier. Plus I got to see some of my favs on the front line and get full story lines with just them in it!

Umm... WOW. That was sooo intense and I LOVED it! The entire volume was basically one huge action scene- and I’d assume this battle is only about half over, still, since the main climax of it hasn’t even happened yet- and those are usually hit or miss for me by but this nailed it.
There was so much background character work going on the whole time? Like at least three characters had a whole arc just in this volume lol. Who knew Kirishima had a backstory like that? Or Tamaki and Mirio? Who are awesome together btw, whether you see it romantically or platonically- I’m cool with both. But I loved seeing all of that. I mentioned not two hours ago in my review for the last volume that Kirishima is like, the best character here? And yeah now I only love him more this was even more focused on him than the last volume was lol and that entire scene was SO badass.

We sorta ended with Tamaki and Kirishima I’m loving this arc, but I’m also ready for this particular battle to end lol.
Can’t wait to get the next volume! (But I am worried for some of these characters there was some foreshadowing at the end of volume 15 that kinda scares me :(

Toga’s back. *shudders* it’s like I can physically smell blood whenever she shows up she creeps me the hell out, man. Worst villain so far.We sorta ended with Tamaki and Kirishima

winning but out of commision, and everyone else is still figuring their own battles, so I’m gonna assume that the next volume will be about Izuku and Eraserhead and the final showdown with Chisaki.
