This book romanticises pedophilia, with gross intimate scenes. The plot is just horrible and unrealistic, with way too many twists. Whenever I thought it would end, it just kept going, which was not necessary.

I missed Freida. This was so much better than the last two books of hers that I read. The main plot is icky, but I was so entertained. The plot twists got me and the EPILOGUE????????

3.5 ⭐️ it was entertaining it was good at some parts but I didn’t like the concept of it , not my favorite book by her but I still like her writing and the pacing was good but the ending ??? Y it end like that but overall it was good.
no clue how this made the Goodreads top books of 2024. this was unlike (and much worse than) all other freida books I’ve read. detailed depictions of minor-with-teacher relations were gross and it was an eye-roll ending
