Super cute book with odd little stories in it.

Each chapter ran through the same format (kid is misbehaving, parent calls neighbors, everyone is stumped, Mrs Piggle Wiggle comes up with some "cure.") I thought it was kind of weird, but my 3 year old liked it.

Our first Mrs Piggle-Wiggle and Emma enjoyed I a lot. I was impressed with how well she listened considering the chapters were long and pictures few. I felt the stories began to get extremely predictable, hence 4 stars instead of 5. We will be taking a break from this series for a whole since the stories seemed so similar.

So fun to revisit this series with my daughter! I loved it as a child and now she does too!

Even though this book is extremely old, my kids absolutely loved it. My 4 year old (Clark), who sometimes has a hard time with chapter books, was completely enthralled with this one. It is a great read-aloud. I wish I had a Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle to help parent my children. (Spring 2011)

*Almost 2 years later. My now 6 year old, Clark, asked me to read this again. He didn't love it as much, but the different stories of the children were still fun to read. I am going to use some of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's ideas to help my kids stop fighting and start sharing. (Jan 2013)*

**Another 2 years later and I read this to my current 6 year old, Isaac. He really enjoyed the book, he didn't love it, but he was happy to read a chapter each day and there are only 8 chapters so it took us about a week.** (Feb 2015)

***Read this for my 4th time, 1st time to Jane. She got a little bored sometimes, but for the most part she enjoyed Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's silly cures.*** (Jul-Aug 2016)

This book had a profound impact on my life. I was constantly fearful that if I didn't clean my room, I would be barricaded in forever. I also loved the child who ate consecutively on smaller plates.
