Wieder ein sehr gutes Buch
Eine sehr interessante Geschichte mit Wendungen
Ich habe das Ende so nicht erwartet und würde es noch 1000 mal lesen

I found this book captivating and thoroughly entertaining. As always, Agatha Christie knows how to create a compelling atmosphere that pulls you in right from the start. The mystery was engaging, though I have to admit it wasn’t too difficult to guess the ending.
Still, that didn’t take away from the experience at all. The real charm lies in the way the story is told.

This such a sad book. Beautifully plotted and Miss Marple at her best even though sh'e removed from the action.
No matter how many times I read this Miss Marple mystery, it always give me the shivers in the very best way. Not because it's spooky or scary, but because it's the so damn clever! I love the way it centers around an open house of the newly acquired stately home by a famous actress Marina Gregg and her talented director husband, Jason Rudd. The combination of cozy home details, gossipy neighbors from "The Development", the glamorous life of film stars and the frustration of Miss Marple's live-in companion makes for the most juicy and addictive read.
The frequent mention of a certain section of "The Lady of Shalott" by Lord Tennyson always sticks in my mind as being the "shivery" part. When Miss Marple finally discloses her thoughts on this multiple-murder mystery (most importantly, the poisoning of Heather Badcock), I just cannot drag my eyes from the page.
The addition of Dolly Bantry (who used to own Gossington Hall with her husband, Colonel Arthur Bantry) makes for an even more entertaining read. The conversations between Dolly and Jane are thrilling and oh-so-gossipy. I just love their banter! Plus, the little bits of information that Miss Marple gleans from her household help, Cherry Baker (she is such a firecracker!), helps to solve the mystery...even if it's in a very small way.
All in all, The Mirror Crack'd never disappoints me and I could read it over and over forever. Highly recommended!

I hated nearly everyone in this book. But damn it was a good mystery.
