Alright, so this volume introduces easily my least favorite character in the series, Miyabi. The bulk of my issues will have to be shelved for the next volume's review, but let's just say her character is portrayed in a way that I do not agree with. Also, her twin brother is annoying and I'm just going to spoil this now, he never gets any character development or growth. He's just super one-dimensional and obnoxious throughout his run in the series. I was thinking of taking off a star because of these two, but since we get Tai's backstory and how he met Nao I can't fathom doing that. Also the fact that he genuinely cares about Miyabi's well-being and her making friends is too damn cute.

We meet a pair of twins in this volume. One, Ryo, is a fan of Taiga, and is trying to be around him as much as possible, and he's not a particular fan of Nao. His twin, Miyabi, on the other hand is extremely quiet. She has a hard time talking, and it takes her a long time to respond, leading to people thinking she's rude. I like seeing Taiga bond with her over her hardship with other people, and like seeing her growing more confident. I get her.

We get to see the scene from when Taiga first met Nao, what he was going through in their past. It's a nice glimpse. Then there's that cliffhanger, which is both funny and bad. Bad for Nao, but it's obvious that Miyabi doesn't quite understand yet.

This series is so very adorable. I can't wait for the next one.

This volume was really cute. This book introduced two new characters who are twins, Ryo and Miyabi. They are interesting characters but I also know that their introduction will make more obstacles for the main characters to overcome seeing as there are only two more volumes of this series for me to read. I do like how Miyabi is not the typical manga love rival because she is younger and more innocent. My favourite part of this book is seeing Nao and Taiga's first encounter from Taiga's point of view and what drew him to Nao. But also his inner thoughts were so cute and innocent about wanting to connect with people but they misunderstand and make him into an outcast. Overall I enjoyed reading this book. It made me feel anxious and worried for Nao, and I'm intrigued to see what will happen next. I'm sad that I'm near the end of this series.
