Sappy and shallow world-building. Very shallow overall. Read the last 2 because there were no more audiobooks on my phone.

Es mentira que lo leí, lo escuché a través de su audiolibro. Pero en fin, conocí la historia y me parece genial como para una audiencia pre adolescente. Es una trilogía así que pienso escucharlos todos.

I really liked this book. I will give it 3.5 stars because 4 is just a bit too high for a middle grade. Initially I wasn’t very interested but it’s Schwab so I wanted to give it a try. I liked it quite a lot for a MG and I feel like the book was advanced for MG

sweet story about about a beautiful friendship and a girl learning to be herself in the world where nothing seems to be about her. got me emotional a few times. i wonder why i waited so long to read it, pretty sure I would've loved this back in early elementary school!

Um, I'm sorry, what? Who gave this book permission to be so good?! I mean, it's Schwab, I know it wouldn't be awful, but... It just looks like light fun fluff. I should have known better. It WAS happy (mostly), but I was literally crying at parts. RTC.

First in the series and we're introduced to Aria, a guardian angel on her first job.
She's asked to look after Gabby Torres, a young girl who's struggling to keep her own sense of identity in light of her brother's illness.
Aria is quirky, rather clueless when it comes to being human but full of good intentions.
Feel-good, with an uncanny ability to tug at the heartstrings in just the right quantities, but still leave me with a smile on my face.
