Probably the best parenting book I've read. Very digestible and actionable, easy to apply to own life.

Finished the audiobook and now ordered the paperback version. I'll be taking the next few weeks to re-read, highlight, and journal to find ways to apply the learnings and techniques in our family. Honestly, I never want parenting (or self-help) books to be truthful and compelling because it means there's work to do. The insights from Good Inside are worth the extra work because I believe it will solidify a foundation of caring and open communication within our family that will translate to all other relationships. Round 2, here we go!

I suppose instagram accounts fall into my internet-the-book category, huh?

Overall, generally good advice to remember that you and your child(ren) are inherently good inside and to pinpoint the why of behaviors, not just the actions themselves. Lots of good tips on building resilience and confidence in decision making over quick fixes that instead teach compliance.

'course, I have an infant so have yet to really attempt to put any of these into practice but it's a good mindset to think of as we head towards communicating with each other!
