Absolutely even better than the first one. The problems are so much bigger meaning that the solutions had to be so much bigger. Mix in the fact that the main character is a fugitive, it is a recipe for an epic tale.

Wow! This sequel starts off a little slow and plotting but once it picks up it doesn't stop. The last half was a rollercoaster and threw in a ton of twists. I was not expecting the ending! There are some wonderful provocative themes about right and wrong and what makes humans human. Hearing the thoughts of the Thunderhead was one of the highlights here, getting into the mind of this "perfect" AI was great way to build the world from the first book. Can't wait for the third!

WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! I knew I should have waited to finish this until the third one was delivered but I was too impatient. This series is so good. I have no idea where it’s going but I can’t wait to go along for the ride. The directions this second story took were an improvement on an already stellar start to the Arc of the Scythe series. The world was opened up even more and the themes of the original were expanded upon in interesting ways.
