pre-review because i just need to get my thoughts out;
WHAT??? THE??? FUCK???

I started Scythe thinking this would be another dystopian disguised as utopia that would have no great climax, but simply ponder many ethical questions through the means of a story. Boy was I WRONG.

No spoilers, but damn. Diggity damn. I have never met such a climatic cliffhanger that ACTUALLY is well written. It surprised me, but all the hints were there. As it should be.

I’m aching for the next book. I’m moments away from buying it. SHIT, man. Wow.

Not my favourite. Very political. Probably not the sort of book to be reading at this point in time. The endings are always excellent however.

The first book was a blast. This one... I have no idea what it was. So, I like the characters, the story was good. But the "Frankenstein" part was awful and the final part was... What was that? However, the end of the book was awesome. Mix of feelings.

I thought this was a great continuation from the first in the series. I truly loved the addition of Grayson, I thought it brought so much depth to the world. I also really enjoyed the character of the Thunderhead, it was so fun to hear that perspective.
While I wasn’t the biggest fan of who the villain of this tale was, I understood the choice and it didn’t detract from my enjoyment of this book.

Highly recommend this series in general, it’s a joy to read
