At the beginning of this book, I struggled for two main reasons, the first reason was the amount of characters there was and it wasn't always clear who was speaking. For the second reason, the writing style was difficult to keep up with. It just felt like it was jumping randomly quite often and I found myself rereading some parts to make sure it made sense.
However, after about 5-6 chapters, the writing style got much better by more simple and clear of who was speaking and what was going on. As well, I absolutely enjoyed the twists in this book because I didn't see it coming and when you thought nothing else could happen, the book would throw another twist at you.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and I couldn't put it down. Definitely a strong 4 star book.

by far the best book i’ve read this year. the suspense maintained throughout and i found myself indulged in this book from the first to last page. the plot twists go absolutely crazy right until the last chapter, i can’t recommend this book enough!!

I absolutely love everything I’ve ready by C.L.Taylor, and this did not disappoint!
