This is mostly character driven, and the plot show, but even still, I didn’t find the book dragged.  Mostly.  This isn’t really a romance, to be warned, but still a great read.

Very different from what I expected but I'm not disappointed. The main character goes through a lot of growth and I liked seeing her forming relationships and connections, and accepting her responsibilities to her people. I would have liked more romance but i'm satisfied with the relationship the characters formed. It's friendship, respect, and trust, and love might come of that. I felt it was well handled and it's not something I see often.
