I really liked this!

I thought this story was pretty unique and I was immediately drawn in as soon as I started the book.

I listened on audio and the narrator was amazing.

I loved this book. Beautifully written with a main character who is strong yet vulnerable and is not perfect. The romance is not pushed or overwhelming. Excellent commentary on resiliency and bravery in the face of loss.

Absolutely an interesting story that had my attention from the first page. Liked it and used a very interesting lore as inspiration. Some things were a bit obvious, which made reading the story a bit predictable, but not less enjoyment.

I'm not sure if this is an actual fairy tale retelling, but it has that feel to it. I loved Alyrra's character, and the way she grows through the book. I'm excited to have found another author in this vein!

Thorn is an interesting character, a princess who doesn’t want to be, who’d rather be left alone. Then she is cursed by an evil fae, and she finds out what it’s like to be a goose girl instead. The story kept my attention throughout, but the pacing is really slow. There are lots of details and lots of descriptions. Good enough to finish, but disappointing in the end.
