Beginning of this book felt drawn out, but then things start picking up and falling neatly into place. Although I liked the new cast of characters that were added, I did not necessarily feel attached to them. I would have preferred seeing more of Sydney, Mitch, and Dom than June and Marcella. Ending could have been better, but I’m satisfied.

Painful. I took up this book after the first even though I didn’t want to because of the cliff hanger Schwab left. Well between the first book and the second the cliff hanger was solved before the second even started.
I continued reading because I did actually enjoy two characters in the series and that kept me going through all the eh of the book. But then it ended with an open ending so for that instead of three stars it’s two. I’m happy I’m done with it.
