*Very* dramatic dialogue. And for such an allegedly momentous battle, it happened awfully fast.

Review posted on Book-o-Craze, as part of the review of the whole volume, containing the first 6 issues of Wynonna Earp.

Sexist. Racist. Bigoted tropes in every other sentence and image.

Clunky dialogue and artwork that frequently made it impossible to follow the ludicrous action being depicted.

Thank the stars that this was basically completely rebooted for the TV show.

This was fine - I liked the idea a lot but I'm not used to reading single issues of comics and, as a result, this felt too short for me to form a solid opinion.

Am a fan of the show. I am a fan of this.

Although the show is centred more around her relation to her great grandfather Wyatt Earp whereas the comic is less into the lore or backstory

So appallingly sexist. The TV show led me to expect a completely different thing, a more nuanced (and less random ass-showing) female character and more interesting villains and side characters. Such a disappointing read.

Interesting concept - looking forward to getting beyond the set up and into the real meat of the series.
