Woah!! I would be more upset with that cliffhanger if I didn’t already know how they end up.
So not only did I LOVE this book but I DEVOURED this book. I finished this book in one sitting. When my boyfriend came to hug me, I was like GO AWAY I only have 10% left. I could not quit reading, I was cooking dinner and reading. I was watering my plants while reading. This story just had me.
I LOVE GRIM SO MUCH! She was a complete savage. She was fierce. She was hilarious. She was everything I love in a main female character. She took the banter and gave it all right back. She was strong and she has done all she could to fight for what she wanted. I loved her in Their Obsession and now I fell even more in love with her in this. I truly cannot wait to see how she grows in the next one.
Beast is FINEEEE. Alpha. Protective. Smart. Shew, the list can keep going. I wanted him to come to his senses and just do what he wanted. BUT I loved seeing the battle within himself. I loved the banter and the words coming out of his mouth. He had me cracking up while also silently cursing him out. I think he might’ve just jumped up on my favorite fictional character list.
During my time reading this book, my heart hurt so much. I felt so much pain in both characters and I wanted to do everything in my power to make everything work out perfectly. I never even thought that ending was going to play out the way it did. I’m already waiting on the next one! Also, if you see yourself thinking about picking this book up, you really should! I highly recommend it!

Thank you for giving us Grim & Beast’s story! I have loved these two characters every other time they have shown up in some of Bea Paige’s other series & I am ALWAYS wanted to know how in the world these two ended up together & now we know, well the first half at least.
This is book 1 of the duet that will give us what exactly went down & oh my goodness was this an amazing start to the story. This is a slow slow slow burn & it works so well for these characters. The build up is insane between these two & I am so looking forward to the explosion that we will see when they finally come together next book.

I absolutely loved this book! Grim is such an incredible woman for her age with so much strength and a good heart. Beast is strong and loyal with a hidden heart of gold for those he loves. In a rough and tough world, it can be hard to trust and find love as shown in this story. Totally worth the read

Wow. Just wow. I was highly anticipating Beast and Grim’s story and it is not disappointing a single ounce. Strong characters, a rollercoaster of emotion story line and heart (lots of them!). Highly recommend this read.

Beast and Grims story is full of ups and downs.
He’s her bodyguard the one who is tasked with protecting her for everything the life they lead will bring her way.
She’s been brought up in this life and is far older in experience than most 17 year olds her age. She wants the one thing she can’t have… Beast. Her protector. Her friend.
While Beast refuses to acknowledge the feelings both of them share for the other Grim tries Eve to get him to act on feelings she knows he has at every possible chance.
Just when Grim gives up all hope and writes off the possibilities of them being together Beast asks her to reconsider and just give him a chance to see where things can go with them when she turns 20.
But what happens when everything turns upside down in your life and the one person who has you whole heart does the one thing you can’t let go or else you will be walked over and thought of as weak and pathetic???
