Auch der 4. Band der Firebrand Reihe ist wieder sehr unterhaltsam und kurzweilig. Diese Bücher machen einfach Spaß. 

Trotzdem fehlt mir bei Helen Harpers Geschichten immer das Worldbuilding. Das ist mir einfach zu dünn. Warum ist die beschriebene Welt so, wie sie dargestellt wird? Der Schreibstil könnte für meinen Geschmack auch detaillierter sein. Für mich war unter ihren Büchern daher bisher leider noch kein richtiges Highlight dabei. Es ist aber auch schwer zu beschreiben, woran es liegt, dass ich keine 4,5 oder 5 Sterne vergeben kann, obwohl ich diese Reihe richtig gerne mag.

Von mir gibt es 4 Sterne und eine klare Empfehlung an alle, die Urban Fantasy mit leichten Krimitendenzen lieben.

Another great one. I don’t get bored and I get super excited about every turn of events. Great writing and plot. Once this is finished I will be mega sad.

I’m hoping this isn’t the last book in the series. It ties up a few loose ends but leaves the story open for more. I thought the ending was a little bit weak and could have used more explanation. But otherwise, I enjoyed the story. I wish we had seen more of Emma and Lucas’s relationship.
