I'm not sure how I made it this far, but I won't be able to continue. The age gap between characters is too much. This series did not spark joy.

Lol why am I so excited about Takane living like a poor person?? I guess I love seeing him sufferrrrrr. I wonder how long this is going to last. I wouldn't mind if it continued for a while. Maybe we'll see some character growth?

Seriously tho, Okamon is so cute and precious. I would hope that in the end he and Hana would end up together, but I doubt that's where this is going.

I really liked this installment. The first third deals with
SpoilerHana starting to realize how much she actually cares for Takane, and then Mizuki and Nicola reaching a new place in their relationship, where he's admitted his seriousness and considered her feelings more.
The rest of the book deals with Takane losing all his money, which went in a different direction than I was thinking.
SpoilerI guess I thought he'd go to Hana for help immediately, because he likes to bother her, but he didn't. He's like, really pathetic, and that was surprising to me. I mean, when you consider how much of his identity is tied to his money and status, his reluctance to show his newfound poverty and helplessness makes some sense, but geez, Takane! Although it's a little cute (and sad) that the reason he didn't immediately go see Hana wasn't because he was poor, but because he couldn't buy her flowers anymore, rather than being embarrassed about the rest of it. Still, I can't believe he thought that she was so attracted to his money, rather than him. Idiot!
Anyway, great volume. The next seems like it will be fun, as this arc with Takane losing all his money and status isn't over. I'm hyped! 4.5 stars.

This was quite the volume! I never expected that Takane would get to be in such an... interesting state, but here we are. I like that this flips the usual situation from him supporting Hana to Hana supporting him. It'll definitely deepen their relationship nicely. What a fun arc! 4.5 stars.

Takane is being tested and Hana has to prove that she is there for him regardless. And now I have to wait to read the next volume. Why is this manga so darn good.
