I'm up to the third book in this series, and I'm trying to fill in the missing stories, ie. the novellas and short stories I haven't read. So I picked this quick story up. This is a very short story from Ash's point of view, where they are tackling the dragon and he and Meghan kiss. It was a good story, and it's clear that Ash has genuine affection for Meaghan. While I'm clearly #teampuck I still enjoyed this story and it left me with a feeling that I want to pick up the next book in this series soon.
This was a very cute short story about Ash and Megan. It was nice to see things from Ash's point of view. It was a little bit sappy but in a good way. A nice addition to the Iron Fey series.

I'm not the series' biggest fan to begin with, but I do like Ash's POV MUCH more than Meghan's (weak, boy-dependent YA heroines are basically the bane of my existence). But this didn't even compare to [b:The Iron Knight|9659607|The Iron Knight (The Iron Fey, #4)|Julie Kagawa|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1375920888s/9659607.jpg|14547221], which was my favorite of the series. This didn't feel as much like Ash to me. So... not very many stars. Maybe two, maybe not.

Absolutely loved it! I immediately remembered this scene from Meghan's POV in The Iron King.
