Wow I'm torn on rating this one!
On the one hand this book will keep me thinking for some time to come. It talks about the roles of men and women in society, how people treat each other and it had a very interesting premise of creating a utopia with only women (and the difficulties that come with that).
On the other hand, I did not connect with Miranda at all, which for me is a important factor in enjoying a book.
The book used very extreme views on sexes, transgender etc. I understand why the author used these and they supported the premise of the book most definitely but I had trouble with a lot of these views so they took me out of the story.
In the end I think the book did what it set out to do: get you thinking. So in that regard, it was very good. And I loved the ending, which made you think all over again.
