Opinion based review.

I liked it, and by that, I mean I found it easy to read. It took a while for it to get going, and I found it slow starting. Action packed near to the end, but then it just kind of ended. I'm not going to lie. The ending kind of ruined it a little for me.

Irgendwo zwischen 3 und 4 Sternen. Den Einstieg fand ich etwas schwach und würde die ersten 60% mit 3 Sternen bewerten. Dann hat jedoch alles Fahrt aufgenommen und es ist zum Ende bei 4 Sternen. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass das große Finale noch etwas mehr ausgeschmückt gewesen wäre. Alles in allem aber definitiv ein gemütliches Buch für den Herbst.

If you're looking for a cosy urban fantasy set in autumnal London, this is the book for you. The characters in this novel are absolutely lovable, and the insecurities and problems faced by 30-year-old Belle are very relatable. The plot is nice and has a few unexpected twists towards the end. The romance is a fairly inconspicuous subplot, but it fits very well into the book. It really is a heartwarming story.

Perfect for this time of year. Very cosy and sweet. Felt the world building was lacking at times and a few confusing plot points but an overall enjoyable read.
