I just didn’t care and when I check how many pages I’d read I thought it’d be like 300 but it was only like 190. Boring and way too slow but not in a good way imo.

Whimsical cosy novel with the same vibes of the classic 90’s witchy shows tv shows.

Kinda pissed me off from the beginning. She’s annoyed with her bosses son and all the changes he makes to the bookshop but she could’ve taken over the bookshop. Her boss literally begged her to reconsider. But she just didn’t. Because it’s “too much responsibility”??? Also she had her powers for 15 years, barely uses them for anything substantial but also losing them would be the end of the world? But she couldn’t even be bothered to read the book that’s supposed to explain all things magical? Maybe I would’ve enjoyed the actual story at some point since I love cozy fantasy but the setup already annoyed me so much that I just didn’t find enough reason to keep going.

The coziest autumn read, made me feel warm and fuzzy inside
