I thought Winter Solstice was one of the best in the series. I liked Winter Street the best, but this one was a more delightful story than the others. There is one really sad plot point, but overall, the characters got to enjoy their lives and I appreciated that. It was nice to see so many of them thriving.

I read the Winter Street trilogy and loved the Quinn family. I picked up #4 and early on was introduced to Fast Eddie and his family. I found out after finishing that these characters were crossovers from The Rumor (which I haven't read).
This book is like an extended epilogue to Winter Storms. Jennifer and Patrick are featured more in this book, which I enjoyed because I feel like Jennifer was an unknown character for most of the previous three books. Kevin and Isabelle were non-existant, but Bart finally got his own chapters. I'm not sure how much I buy his storyline on this one, but I did like it. This book really wrapped up the characters and their arcs really well. I already miss them and want to read more about the Quinns!

Wow! The characters of this series are so well written and love-able. This ending was heartbreaking. All in all- loved it. But what ever happened to eddy and his power ball winners? Also proposing the day your dad dies isn’t great IMO.
