Neil Gaiman weaves a tale quite like none.

A wonderful collection of short stories that are only loosely connected to the overall narrative, but give a lot of depth to it.

this was a beautiful collection of stories, many of which made me cry. it again was missing something that would push it up to five stars but if you wanna read comics without needing context his collection of short stories are always great and so well written. I very much enjoyed and look forward to reading the next comic which i’m pretty sure is one with an ongoing plot which is always exciting.

This is a rather silly thing to focus on in such an amazing volume, but...

Lil Death and Lil Dream?

Cutest. effing. thing. ever.

I love how seemingly none of the people introduced in each volume are incidental. They keep popping back up in ways you wouldn't expect. I'm especially interested in seeing what happens with Daniel. But I'm looking more specifically at Cain and Able. I was amused as hell when they appeared in the first volume, and this time, I fell a little more in love with Abel. His story of what happened between him and his brother, and the outcome, made me a little teary from sweetness. I also love that that section was animated like Japanime, or however you spell that thing that I don't bother with.

I love Death. I can't say it enough, she is rocking.

I can't properly review these, man. They're just too awesome.

Although this was a random assortment of stories only vaguely connected to Dream, I loved this collection. Special mention to August and The Song of Orpheus.
