Too slow for me. I DNFed at chapter 17. I tried so hard to like it.

Hmm. Well.

I connected exactly 0% with any of these characters, and the only thing keeping this book at 3 stars is I'm not sure if that's my fault or the author's.

The GRETA'S DAD sign made for a sweet ending.

Probably should have DNF'd, but 'tis the glory of summer reading: It doesn't have to pan out. You got time to enjoy the slower side of life.

I was lucky enough to win this book through goodreads and it did not disappoint. This story was full of in depth characters, once in a lifetime travel, music, grief and love.

I have liked a few of this author's books in the past, but this was just so dull. The characters felt very two-dimensional, and I just couldn't get into it.
