This was a really good series I think I would have liked it more when I was younger but I love how these books are quick and easy to read as I really did love this movie when I was in my teens just didn't know there was books as well
There were a lot of mythical creatures in these books which I loved and adored.Aunt Lucinda is out of the hospital and go to her aunt Lucinda's dad - Jared, Simon, and, Mallory's great great uncle. He has been gone a long time and gets wished back. He sees Lucinda hugs her, but he can't touch the ground or else he will turn to ash

Eh... It was a good conclusion to the series but I saw the movie as a child (which has some differences) and I guess that's why I prefer the movie ending. Just gave me more feelings, which may be due the fact that I was younger

This was such a great conclusion to the series. The villain is great. There's so much action. We get to spend the book with all of our favorite Fey that we've collected along the series. This was absolutely the best book of the 5.

My daughter and I sat down and read it in one go, even stayed up past bedtime because we couldn't put it down.

There were a couple complaints from the little though. She really didn't love the baby dragons getting chomped (because they're still cute little babies).

She does, however, love Mallory so I think it was pretty easy for her to get past the bits she didn't like because “Malloy is SO awesome”.

We both really enjoyed this series. We blew through it in a week, so we're a little sad that there wasn't more of it to enjoy.

This book was fantastic, probably one of my favorites in the series. This was such an interesting and fun read. I enjoyed how everything wrapped up. It was great to be back in this world, I really being able to reread this series over again.

I did not expect to sit down and binge-read all five books of The Spiderwick Chronicles when I woke up this morning, and yet!

What a delightfully fun and thrilling story. I couldn’t imagine a better duo than Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black to bring the world of faerie to life.

I really love this series! I'd watched the movie first(which I also love)before reading the series and it's really interesting to know more about the world and how it differs from the movie. I prefer the fighting scene and the ending of the movie more than the book though.

And I just don't understand why they have to break the story into 5 books, since book 1 doesn't really have much going on, it pales in comparison to other books in the other series.
