I read this on the sofa one night while staying with Kristin and Phil on their wedding week. It was one of her brothers and I just needed something to read - it was great! Brilliant story and good fun - this is an excellent book for kids to read (plus the occasional adult who may find it lying around).
I convinced my girlfriend to get them when we flew home from San Fransisco and she liked them too.

So, many years later, maried (not to the aforementioned GF), two kids of my own and my 8 yr old decided he wanted to read these next. He enjoyed them but I have to say, now as a dad, Greg is not a nice guy! I kempt disapproving of his attitude and manner to others and felt less inclined to keep reading them. I think this means I'm now old.
They are pretty funny at times but I'm more conscious of promoting healthy relationships (spoken as the father of a sensitive kid). Still, he likes them and I like him reading so, suck it up.
