An awesome book with many details. I thought it was sometimes hard to follow when a chapter didn't include Bourne himself. The Bourne Identity was totally different from the movie but intruiging and exciting just the same. It isn't possible to read this book while half paying attention, this book needs full focus.

This is one case that I think the movie was better than the book, or at least the movie was different than the book. I love the Bourne movies and this made me want to go back and watch them. There were periods that I was confused while reading this and felt that there was something that I was missing or just felt stupid for not understanding parts. Unsure if I will continue with the series, but at least I finished this one.

Careful with the audio version -
I got this on audiobook and it had a run time of 8 hours, which seems reasonable (maybe a touch short) for a 500+pg book. So i listened to it and was getting a bit confused. it seemed to be soft on back story and choppy scene to scene.
What i didn't realize was i had bought an abridged version of the Bourne Trilogy. So not only did I miss a lot of the book, i didn't catch the right beats because i thought i was only ~1/4 in when i was really at the climax of the book.
So, this was not a fun reading experience for me. Someday i'll come back to it and read the whole unabridged book.
