Not very thrilling - glad I did this as an audiobook or I would've put the book down. Not really even worth reviewing...
Very slow. I almost gave up but was glad I stuck with it in the end. You almost miss *the dramatic event* as it's told at the same lolloping pace. An interesting one but not a page turner. Too cool (in the calm sense) for that.

Meh, it was okay. By the cover and the synopsis I was expecting something a little more thrilling but the story itself was quite good.
Bah! What a cheap way to end. It's like the phone call on a soap opera where all relevant details are revealed in a matter of minutes.
Read and re-read twice considering maybe I was missing something. Verdict: I gave up. No need to finish it for the second time.I was bored stiff, slow-paced and predictable. Not the same thrill I felt with Gone Girl, not even close.

I feel like this story was presented as if it would be some psychological thriller and it just really wasn't. It was about the deterioration of a relationship and the places desperate people allow themselves to go. Parts of it made me sad to see just how miserable the main characters were and the things they thought would fix it. The ending bumped my rating up a little.
