Here are some of my thoughts on the characters of this book: 
See my updates (I only have a few of them for this book) for how I feel on Harlyn. In the first book Trina was annoying but now she’s not annoying. I never had and still don’t have an opinion on Basil, but he’s definitely much improved. Why on earth is Tenger even still here. And who the heck is this random guy named “Huge”? You cannot convince me that’s his real name. It probably said somewhere that that’s not his real name but I missed it. 

Simon and Kestra are the main characters! Points to them!

And Lord Endrick is over there being Super Evil All Powerful Undefeatable Evil Villain Guy. What a character arc!

didn't really enjoy the first one but thought I should read this one but I find it kind of boring still and I just couldn't get into it
