𝗠𝗔𝗠𝗔'𝗦 𝗦𝗟𝗘𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗙 𝗯𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗡𝗴𝗼𝘇𝗶 𝗔𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 is a delightfully tender story told through Chino's eyes, turning her mama's scarf into a magical portal of family adventures. This author, renowned for powerful narratives, crafts a heartwarming tale in her first picture book. Resonating with love and connection, the illustrations vividly capture family routines, making each page a visual treat. It's a perfect bedtime story, emphasizing a child's autonomy with respect, good manners, and the significance of everyday objects. This adorable addition to Adichie's repertoire celebrates the profound bond between a mother and her child, a sweet ode to love and family.

Thanks NetGalley, Penguin Random House Canada, and Puffin Canada for this cute and fun arc!

5/5 stars!

I just loved this book! The art was lovely, and Chino was just so adorable!! Her little bunny, too cute. This was a fun read, and seeing Chino interacting with all of her family was so touching. I've already got a few on order for my store!!
