I didn't really vibe with it at first, but I have to admit that I like the quotes, and my favorite part is all about the cats, Lettuce (R.I.P. 🥀) and Cabbage.

Honestly, it's a little cruel to give it 3 stars as I do got teary-eyed towards the end, so I added 75 behind it.

Found the story really sad yet beautiful at the same time. The ending made me cry and though it was very well written. Was very reflective of the main character memories, but didn’t shy away from the sadness and harsh reality around facing your own morality.

I’ve read other reviews talking about how the heart of the writing got lost in translation, and I think that may be true. I have to agree that the writing fell a bit flat at times.

Even so, the events within the story are heartwarming and some sad, yet peaceful. It both made me smile and tear up at seperate times. It’s a nice book.
