I felt like there was other books I was supposed to read before this one. The dialogue was a bit cringy at times and the world didn’t make sense like why does everyone know Cade & his family are part of the mob & why is he working for a tech company instead of the mob. I also felt like Cade and Izzy’s relationship was more lust than romance, however the spicy scenes were well written.

I think I was wanting way more from this than it gave me, and it pains me to ever review this low. It was however a quick bridge between series for me which I always need to cleanse my palate
