The first half of this felt repetitive from book 2, but I really enjoyed the second half!
There were too many similarities to throne of glass for me to continue the series right now. It literally felt like reading the less in depth version.

Loving the journey of Scarlett and Sorin. Scarlett is definitely giving me Alein vibes and Callen is Dorian but more mopey. I likee the growth we are seeing in Callen, the development of Tala, and the insights of Queen Talwyn.

I still think this series is….TOO inspired by SJM. But, I’ll bite . The story is interesting even though I think I know how it will turn out.

I have been loving this series. I find that it is fantastic mix of ACOTAR and ToG for those that love Sarah J.Maas. It has a perfect mixture of the spicy romance and the fantasy races. The story is compelling and once you start you just want to devour them all and find out what happens next. There are so many twists and turns and heart wrenching heartache because you fall in love with the characters and just end up feeling the emotions with them.
