FIVE FRICKIN ⭐️’s I have done nothing but loved this series but this book? This book freaking wrecked me. It grabbed me by the throat, and threw me around until I absolutely couldn’t take it any more. I was both interested and bitter about the plot, but like in the best way possible. Can not wait to get my hands on the rest of the series.
Watching Scarlet have a love that chooses her every single time, has been amazing and I can’t wait to continue to see her grow into the bad ass boss bitch I knew she’s going to be.

A solid 3 stars. I am enjoying this series, but it's suuuuuper difficult to like the FMC Scarlett. I'm having a tough time with how fast paced this book is and how she went from not knowing who she was to now being a Queen, using powers, and plotting in just 3 books. I am enjoying the side characters and how easy this storyline is to follow, but overall this book was quite meh for me. I will be continuing the series as I'm almost finished and the plot twists are definitely twisty!

I really enjoyed this book - a lot happens which makes it hard to give it a specific rating. Scarlett is sometimes annoying as is Talwyn. I find the story and worldbuilding really indepth which I enjoy. I love most of the characters other than Scarlett and Talwyn (and the main enemies ofc!). The story has little tidbits of the story which really crafts this world. I do also like how the main group didn't let Scarlett off by not telling them her plan from book 3. But I do think she's a little immature - she still doesn't let anyone in and when anyone brings that up, she just does it anyway.
