The book took me forever to finish... Kind of ironic I finished it on 9/11... A part of the book where parts of the story started. First 2/3 of the book were soooo slow and confusing in timelines. And a new chapter every 2-3 pages is also disturbing I think. Last part of the book, finally... Things are happening!! So many stories were told, about Pilgrim and Saraceen. But not a lot of character build for the Pilgrim... I've learned more about "sidekick" Ben Bradley than about the main characters.
This was an amazing book. There was suspense all the way through. I couldn’t put it down. Right from the get go I was hooked. This was my first thriller too so very good to see how the other side live. I definitely recommend it.
Also the little message at the end of the book from the author was soo heart warming. It has changed the way I see the world.

there were certain parts i liked that were really detailed and engaging. i felt the character development was very one dimensional. ultimately didn’t care about the actual ending, but was interested in how the mystery would be connected together
Omg, this book took an eternity to finish. It was long, felt long, just whoa long. I didn't' even care about the thriller aspect of it.
