I really enjoyed this! I can see why not everyone would like it because Gillian is extremely sheltered and naive. It makes her thought processes and decision making kind of simple and sporadic. There was just something so beautiful about watching her experience things for the first time and realize not everyone will abuse her and hurt her. Christopher is a big part of restoring her faith in herself even though he struggles himself. I loved watching their relationship progress through challenges and the side character were incredible as well.
